About the role

GestPoint Nigeria Limited, a real estate development and investment company focused on home ownership and property financing, is hiring a full-time, on-site Accountant based in Ikeja. The Accountant handles the day-to-day financial operations of the company, working closely with other departments to manage transactions and keep financial records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial records and prepare financial reports
• Handle budgeting and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and conduct audits
• Provide financial advice to support management decisions
• Work with other departments to manage transactions and maintain accurate financial documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Relevant professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and strong accuracy in financial records
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively

Required skills

• Financial accounting, budgeting and financial reporting
• SAGE accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with compliance, taxation and financial regulations
