About the role
The company is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to support its manufacturing and warehousing operations. You will be responsible for moving raw materials, finished goods and supplies safely across the plant and storage areas.
Key responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, stack and transport cables, copper rods, PVC compounds, drums and pallets.
- Move materials between production lines, warehouses, storage zones and loading bays while adhering to speed limits and safety zones.
- Receive, store and supply raw materials to production departments and transfer finished goods to the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock movement and warehouse re‑organisation.
- Conduct daily pre‑operation inspections of hydraulic systems, tyres, forks, mast, brakes, battery and other components; report defects promptly.
- Maintain clean and orderly aisles, emergency exits and storage locations.
- Follow company HSE policies, FIFO procedures and other safety regulations.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and perform routine equipment checks.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks.
