Food & Beverage Waitress

About the role

Venmac Resources Limited, a hospitality management company, is seeking a friendly and attentive Food & Beverage Waitress to join its team. The role involves serving guests in a hotel‑restaurant environment, ensuring a pleasant dining experience and supporting the Food and Beverage Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and answering questions about portions, ingredients, and allergens.
• Set up tables with linens, silverware, and glasses, and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS ordering software and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
• Recommend menu items, up‑sell where appropriate, and handle special requests.
• Clear and transport dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Participate in briefings on daily specials, menu changes, and reservation details.
• Follow health department regulations and report any issues with dishes or kitchenware.
• Provide excellent customer service and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in a food‑service or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS ordering software.
