Financial Sales Executive

About the role

Heirs Insurance Group, a family of insurance companies covering general, life and brokerage services, is hiring a full-time Financial Sales Executive in Lagos. The position is hybrid, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. The executive identifies and develops new business for the group's insurance and financial services products, manages a client portfolio and builds long-term relationships with individuals and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client needs assessments and present tailored financial and insurance solutions
• Prepare proposals and quotations and follow up to close sales
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate policy documentation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and regulatory requirements
• Track performance against sales targets using CRM and reporting tools
• Take part in marketing campaigns, networking events and client education initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven sales experience meeting or exceeding targets in insurance or financial services
• Experience in insurance, banking or other financial institutions is highly beneficial
• Professional certifications in insurance or financial services (e.g. local licenses or industry designations) are an advantage

Required skills

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and client relationship management
• Ability to analyse client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office tools and basic data reporting
• Comfort with hybrid work, time management and self-motivation
