Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to lead the preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports in line with IFRS. The role will support strategic decision‑making through budgeting, cash‑flow planning and tax compliance for our real‑estate operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Develop management dashboards and analytical reports for decision‑making.
• Manage budgets, monitor operational and capital expenditures and conduct variance analysis.
• Oversee cash‑flow planning, treasury activities and banking relationships.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory taxes including CIT, VAT, WHT and PAYE.
• Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls.
• Supervise the Operational Accountant and review financial transactions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Provide financial analysis on company performance and project profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAN, ACCA or CPA).
• 5–7 years post‑qualification experience in financial accounting or management reporting.
• Experience in real‑estate, construction or property development is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations.

What we offer

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 300,000 to NGN 400,000.
