Finance Outreach (FO) Internship - Remote

About the role

Springer Capital is hiring a remote Finance Outreach (FO) intern. The role sits at the front line of business development: identifying and reaching out to potential clients and leads, communicating their offering and moving them through the pipeline. It suits someone with a quantitative background who wants hands-on experience in lead generation and client handling.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to potential clients and leads within the target segments.
• Communicate with prospects by email, call and online platforms, explaining the offering and answering first-line questions.
• Support the preparation of outreach materials, one-pagers and simple financial illustrations.
• Conduct market, competitor and sector research to sharpen targeting and messaging.
• Maintain lead records and CRM updates, track outreach activity and outcomes, and follow up with prospects.
• Help move leads through the pipeline and coordinate with marketing and operations teams.

Required profile

• Derivatives fundamentals: options and futures, and what drives their value (strike, expiry, volatility, basic Greeks).
• Options income and hedging strategies: covered calls, cash-secured puts, protective puts and collars.
• Real estate investment analysis: NOI, cap rates, cash-on-cash return, IRR and reading a basic pro forma.
• Financial modelling: three-statement models, DCF valuation and comparable company analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Quantitative background in a STEM field (engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, economics or similar).
• Genuine interest in finance and markets, excellent written and verbal communication, confidence with clients, self-motivation and ability to work independently remotely.
• Reliable internet connection and availability during core team hours.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets.
• CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or similar) is a plus.
