Finance Officer

About the role

Norrenberger Securities, part of the integrated financial services group Norrenberger Financial Group, is looking for a Finance Officer. The role supports the firm's financial operations through accurate record-keeping, effective management of financial transactions and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and post accounting entries under supervision.
• Support the processing of invoices, payments and expense reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting.
• Prepare schedules and working papers for audits and statutory reporting.
• Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking departmental expenditures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work well within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting or financial management software.
