Account Officer (FMCG)

About the role

FMR Agency Limited is recruiting an Account Officer on behalf of a client in the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records and support the company's day-to-day financial operations. Candidates must live in or around Lugbe and be able to commute to the office.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Record daily sales, expenses and other financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Track expenses and support budgeting activities.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting procedures.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred; candidates with relevant experience at different levels are welcome.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills, with high accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
• Must reside in or around Lugbe, Abuja, and be able to commute to the office.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
