Customer Service Officer

About the role

Finesse Capital is looking for a Customer Service Officer in Abuja, Nigeria. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the role delivers exceptional client experiences, manages front office operations, handles client inquiries and keeps a professional, welcoming environment. It is a full-time, entry-level position.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients, visitors and stakeholders and direct them to the right department or relationship manager
• Keep the reception area clean, organised and professional
• Answer client inquiries by phone, email and in person, give accurate product and process information and escalate complex queries
• Follow up with clients until their inquiries are resolved
• Handle mail, packages and couriers, schedule meetings and appointments, and help with document preparation, photocopying, scanning and filing
• Maintain client databases and contact lists, and support the operations team with basic administrative tasks
• Build positive client relationships, anticipate client needs, gather feedback and keep client information confidential
• Help with client onboarding documentation and KYC/AML documentation, manage office supplies and support corporate events
• Represent the brand professionally and promote a culture of client-centricity

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 1-3 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in financial services, banking, asset management or professional services
• Certification in customer service or relationship management is an added advantage

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of financial services products (wealth management, investments, capital markets) is an advantage
• Knowledge of CRM systems and basic reporting is desirable
