Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will oversee all financial activities for Tulips n Lilies Confectionery, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance with tax regulations. This full‑time position plays a key role in supporting the company’s financial health and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare budget forecasts and monitor financial performance.
• Publish financial statements on schedule.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments and manage cash flow.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Maintain balance sheets and profit‑and‑loss statements.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Protect financial data confidentiality and perform database backups when needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of BSc in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
