Finance Intern

About the role

The Finance Intern will support the Finance team in day‑to‑day operations, assisting with transaction processing, reconciliations, document management, audit preparation and month‑end activities. This role offers hands‑on exposure to accounting processes in a fast‑growing solar energy startup.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including matching payments to invoices and maintaining accurate records.
• Support month‑end close activities such as reconciliations, journal documentation and preparation of reporting schedules.
• Monitor cash positions, prepare cash flow forecasts and manage day‑to‑day banking operations.
• Provide audit and compliance support by organizing documentation and assisting with internal and external audit requests.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (completed or in progress).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
