About the role
Makarios Consulting Services is hiring a Finance Executive in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The role covers management reporting, tax computations and remittances, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and supervision of accounts, within a banking, finance and insurance environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare management reports
- Compute and remit taxes
- Collate records and financial statements and participate in external audits
- Assist with budgeting and budget control
- Process payroll
- Analyse finances
- Supervise accounts payable
- Handle internal control, invoicing and accounts receivable
Required profile
- B.Sc. in Accounting
- Professional Accounting Certification
- Minimum of 4 years in an accounting role
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Good supervisory skills and clear communication
- Good cognitive ability and excellent attention to detail
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Adeptness with the Microsoft Suite
