Finance Associate

About the role

This is an entry-level Finance Associate position, suited to professionals with up to two years of experience. It supports the organization's financial health and strategic direction by helping with budgeting cycles, financial assessments and the data behind executive decisions. The role also covers capital-related activities, accurate record-keeping and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating annual budgets and ongoing forecasts, keeping financial models and liquidity estimates up to date.
• Track actual spending against planned budgets, note variances and trends, and flag opportunities for cost optimization.
• Help build reporting tools that show revenue, cost and profit metrics across departments.
• Analyze unit economics and product margins to support pricing and expense management.
• Prepare and distribute regular financial reports that turn complex data into clear performance indicators for leadership.
• Keep financial documentation accurate and organized for external audits and regulatory checks.
• Manage account reconciliations, track spending flows and help maintain internal controls and purchasing protocols.
• Aid in managing grant programs, including fund tracking, expenditure logs and external reporting.
• Contribute to investor materials, financial projections and due diligence documents for fundraising.
• Gather market data, support contingency planning, help draft finance SOPs and support special projects from senior management.

Required profile

• Background in financial planning, analysis or related accounting fields, with foundational skills suitable for early-career professionals.
• Ability to analyze data sets and turn them into practical, actionable business insights.
