Finance & Accounts Associate

About the role

The Finance & Accounts Associate sustains ICE Solar's daily financial operations by managing record-keeping, reporting and internal controls. The role delivers precise and timely financial data that supports operational integrity and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of financial records and all supporting documentation.
• Facilitate bookkeeping and the accurate recording of transactions in the accounting software.
• Execute bank reconciliations and manage schedules for accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor company and project spending against approved budgets.
• Contribute to monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports.
• Organize and maintain invoices, receipts and payment logs.
• Assist with financial reporting for grants, investors and external partners.
• Help manage payroll records, statutory payments, tax documentation and audit readiness.
• Oversee cash flow and payment tracking schedules.
• Detect discrepancies or missing documentation and escalate them for resolution.
• Provide analytical support to the Finance Manager and leadership team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial record-keeping, bookkeeping or accounting support.
• Experience supporting financial reporting for external stakeholders such as investors and grant partners.
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with management teams on financial analysis.

Required skills

• Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Tracking expenditures against budgets and preparing financial reports.
• Familiarity with payroll processing, tax documentation and audit preparation.
