About the role
The Finance & Accounting Officer plays a key role in keeping the organization's financial records accurate, complete and compliant. The role covers day-to-day financial transactions, careful documentation and timely financial reporting, supporting both operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and check expense reports against corporate policies.
- Prepare and send invoices, track outstanding payments and follow up with clients or vendors on timely collection.
- Keep digital and physical records of receipts, invoices and other financial documents organized and retrievable.
- Support senior accountants in preparing monthly financial statements, tax filings and audit documentation.
- Help track departmental budgets and produce variance reports for management review.
