About the role
Jaza is expanding its solar‑energy network across Nigeria and needs skilled Field Service Engineers to ensure continuous power availability at its hubs. Based in Ekiti State, you will travel to multiple sites, diagnose technical issues, and support the rollout of new solar installations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and quickly resolve technical faults to maintain energy uptime.
- Support the setup and connectivity of new hubs, performing routine maintenance on solar and electrical equipment.
- Oversee installation and configuration of solar panels, wiring, inverters and related components.
- Collaborate with local Jaza Stars and the data team to troubleshoot and document technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of hub equipment and produce regular health reports for the Regional Service Engineer.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of hands‑on technical or engineering experience in telecommunications, energy or related sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on safety and HSE compliance.
- Ability to work independently, travel frequently within Nigeria and collaborate in a fast‑paced, multicultural team.
