Group Head, Strategic Partnerships

About the role

We are looking for a Group Head of Strategic Partnerships to lead our alliance agenda and accelerate growth across Nigeria and Africa. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will identify, negotiate and manage high‑value partnerships that expand market presence and generate sustainable revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Group Strategic Partnership Framework aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate and close strategic alliances across telecommunications, digital infrastructure, cloud services, financial services and the public sector.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with regulators, technology providers, investors and enterprise clients.
• Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, MoUs, commercial contracts and joint go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Represent the organization at executive meetings, industry conferences and strategic forums.
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle, conduct business reviews and monitor performance against KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in strategic partnerships, business development or commercial leadership.
• At least 8 years in a senior leadership or executive management role.
• Proven track record in telecommunications, ISP, fibre infrastructure, cloud services or related technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success negotiating complex commercial agreements with multinational organisations and government bodies.
• Strong understanding of Africa’s telecom and digital infrastructure ecosystem.
