About the role
The Hardware Engineer (Repair Centre) acts as the technical authority within Moniepoint’s repair centre, ensuring repaired terminals meet quality standards and are ready for redeployment. The role bridges hands‑on repair work with engineering‑level governance.
Key responsibilities
- Design electronic hardware circuits and PCB layouts that comply with specifications.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation such as parts lists and bills of materials.
- Develop training processes and repair procedures to raise technician competency.
- Conduct product and tool testing, recommend design modifications, and document repair results.
- Collaborate with technicians, hardware engineers, and cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in terminal repair is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, data‑entry accuracy, and communication abilities.
