Field Sales Representative - Skincare & Cosmetics

About the role

A skincare and cosmetics company is looking for a results-driven Field Sales Representative to join its commercial team in Lagos. You will own an assigned territory, drive revenue, expand the customer base across retail, wholesale and distributors, and deepen the brand's presence. The role sits under the Head of Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and SKU volume targets in your territory.
• Prospect, cold-call and onboard new retail, wholesale and distributor accounts.
• Maintain a regular call cycle with existing clients to present products, demonstrate value and secure repeat orders.
• Negotiate pricing, credit limits and promotional terms within company guidelines.
• Run in-store displays, brand activations and promotional setups.
• Track rival brands, pricing trends and shelf space, and report market intelligence weekly.
• Monitor client credit profiles and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Keep client interaction logs, pipeline and sales metrics up to date in the CRM.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sciences or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG, skincare or cosmetics.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across the Lagos territory.
• Fluent written and spoken English; working proficiency in Yoruba is required.
• High energy, strong negotiation skills and a track record of hitting targets.
