Field Sales Executive – Paint Industry

About the role

A remote Field Sales Executive position in Lagos, focused on building business by identifying and selling prospects while maintaining client relationships. The role suits someone who can research sales options, develop relationships with prospects and recommend solutions that improve their production.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities by finding prospects, evaluating their position in the industry and researching and analysing sales options for customers.
• Build relationships with prospects and recommend solutions that improve their production through the use of the company's products.
• Sell products by making contact and developing relationships with prospects.
• Gather marketplace information on pricing, products and merchandising techniques in the paint industry.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above; chemical majors are preferred.
• Fluent in English or Chinese.
• More than 2 years of experience in the paints and costing industry, paints R&D or raw materials for paints; experience at BASF or DOW is preferred.
• Diligent and self-motivated, with presentation and persuasion skills.
• Technical paint experience is preferable.
