Factory Operations & Production Engineer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing manufacturing company in Lagos, specializing in high‑precision luxury retail products. We are seeking a data‑driven Factory Operations & Production Engineer to eliminate manual measurement errors, optimise the production floor and drive lean efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement fool‑proof cutting templates, measurement jigs and quality checkpoints to achieve 100 % product accuracy.
• Map work instructions, set standard cycle times and reorganise the factory layout to remove bottlenecks and maximise output.
• Oversee automated machinery performance, ensuring proper calibration, material tension settings and zero pattern waste.
• Train, monitor and hold the production team accountable to strict QC standards and daily output targets.
• Control raw material consumption, minimising scrap and shrinkage while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably high‑volume consumer goods.
• Analytical leader who spends the majority of time on the shop floor executing solutions.
