Quality Assurance Process Checker – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Quality Assurance Process Checker will support compliance with established QA processes in a food manufacturing environment. The role involves inspecting incoming materials, monitoring production equipment, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming packaging material receipts.
• Conduct delivery truck and bulk tank inspections.
• Validate cleaning of mill and packing equipment.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑fumigation inspections.
• Carry out online packing inspections, including weight checks, coding and stitching.
• Ensure efficient CCP (Critical Control Point) monitoring.
• Deliver pep talks and inductions on quality and food safety to factory personnel.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation management systems.
• Practical knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and hygiene control programs.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English in O'Levels (WAEC/NECO/GCE) in a Science discipline.
• At least two years of experience in manufacturing, food processing or flour milling operations.
