Factory Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Factory Operations Manager to lead our production facility in Kaduna. The role involves overseeing all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise factory staff and submit weekly operational reports.
• Lead and oversee all factory operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and operational objectives.
• Ensure full compliance with NAFDAC and GMP standards across all plant operations.
• Coordinate production schedules, plan procurement, and manage machine upkeep.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Required profile

• HND in Food Science/Technology, Agricultural Processing, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3‑5 years of relevant experience in food, spice, beverage, agro‑processing or FMCG operations.
• Experience in supervisory responsibilities; training, education, consulting or professional services is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel and basic computer systems.
• Understanding of NAFDAC and GMP requirements.
