Factory/Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Factory/Production Manager to oversee daily sachet/pure water and bottled water production operations at our facility in Abeokuta, Nigeria. The role involves managing staff, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily sachet, pure water and bottled water production operations.
• Manage production staff, schedules, workflow and performance.
• Monitor water treatment and production processes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with NAFDAC standards, food safety, hygiene and workplace safety.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, staff and operational records.
• Monitor raw materials, equipment and output to minimise waste and downtime.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly.
• Ensure proper maintenance and efficient use of production equipment.
• Implement processes that improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.
• Prepare regular production reports for management.

Required profile

• HND in food science, microbiology, biochemistry, industrial chemistry, production management, engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing a sachet/pure water and bottled water factory in Nigeria.
• Strong leadership and staff‑management abilities.
• Good record‑keeping, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of NAFDAC requirements and water production standards is highly desirable.
