Facility Manager

About the role

The Facility Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Lekki, with some flexibility for working from home. The position oversees the daily operations and maintenance of office facilities, keeping them safe, efficient and well functioning so that IT service delivery can continue smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate building maintenance and repairs
• Manage vendors and service providers
• Monitor utilities and facility budgets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security standards
• Plan and supervise office layout, workspace allocation and equipment needs
• Support environmental, sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives
• Carry out regular inspections of the premises and handle facility-related incidents
• Work closely with management and IT teams to align facility operations with organizational goals

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in an office or corporate facility environment; exposure to IT or technology-focused organizations is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid arrangement, with reliability, accountability and self-management

Required skills

• Building maintenance coordination, space planning and vendor management
• Knowledge of health, safety and security regulations, with experience implementing compliance and risk mitigation measures
• Ability to manage facility budgets, track costs and optimize resource use
• Proficiency with facility management software for scheduling, work orders and reporting
• Organizational, problem-solving and time management skills, and clear written and verbal communication
