Facility Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our residential and commercial properties in Lagos. The role involves ensuring safety, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness across all building services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to identify repair needs and coordinate routine and emergency maintenance.
• Negotiate, manage and monitor contracts for custodial, security, landscaping and specialised services.
• Ensure compliance with local safety, environmental, accessibility and fire regulations.
• Develop, track and control facility budgets, monitoring project expenses and identifying cost‑saving measures.
• Plan and execute office reconfigurations, relocations, new construction and renovation projects.
• Lead on‑site maintenance staff, janitorial crews and external contractors.

Required profile

• OND or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience managing residential, commercial or mixed‑use properties.
• Proven experience operating water treatment plants, boreholes, water pumps and related systems.
• Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems, generators, power distribution and backup power infrastructure.
• Experience in preventive maintenance programmes and building services.
