Export Officer – International Sales & Logistics

About the role

The Export Officer will drive revenue growth across the Niger and Chad markets, supporting business objectives and delivering market intelligence. The role combines sales development, negotiation, logistics coordination and trade compliance to expand international client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Research new international regions, develop sales strategies, and acquire overseas clients.
• Close deals, manage pricing proposals, and negotiate commercial contracts, including Incoterms, with international buyers.
• Oversee end‑to‑end shipment processes, handling Form NXP, bills of lading, and freight tracking.
• Ensure export documentation such as commercial invoices and certificates of origin complies with destination country regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG, supply chain, or shipping operations.
• Proficiency with CRM software.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities.
• Basic knowledge of international trade laws, customs regulations, and logistics.
• Fluency in French and English; Hausa is an advantage.
• Understanding of letters of credit and foreign banking processes.
