Event Planner & Business Development Manager

About the role

The role combines event planning expertise with business development to grow the corporate event sector. You will work closely with clients and vendors to deliver high‑impact events while expanding the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for corporate events.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships aligned with event objectives.
• Provide expert consultation and tailored event solutions to clients.
• Identify, onboard, and negotiate contracts with high‑quality vendors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Monitor industry trends to uncover new business opportunities.
• Analyze event performance data and vendor feedback for continuous improvement.
• Promote event services and vendor offerings through digital and physical marketing.
• Resolve vendor‑related issues promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• HND/BSc degree in Business Administration, Event Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning, consulting or vendor management.
• Deep understanding of the corporate event industry and vendor landscape.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Creative and analytical mindset focused on delivering results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Experience using project management software.
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms.
