Engineer II – Maintenance & Facilities

About the role

The Engineer II provides on‑site maintenance and repair services for hotel guests and facilities. Working independently and with minimal supervision, you will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, visual inspections, cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building systems.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and communicate shift activities using approved procedures.
• Carry out mid‑level troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and act as Engineer on Duty when required.
• Follow lockout/tagout protocols and all safety, security and company policies.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least one maintenance discipline with above‑average skills in two others and basic knowledge of the remaining areas.
• Ability to train and mentor other engineers.
• Capability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including rounds and readings.
• Strong adherence to safety and security procedures.
