Electro-Mechanical Technician (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Electro‑Mechanical Technician to join our manufacturing team in Ibeju‑Lekki. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment that supports production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues before breakdowns.
• Install, test and commission new equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime.
• Replace faulty components such as wiring, motors, sensors, switches and control systems.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electro‑Mechanical or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• HND, OND, Trade Test or Technical Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.
• Residence in Ibeju‑Lekki or nearby communities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels and PLCs.
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic mechanisms.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
