About the role
We are seeking a reliable driver to transport staff and goods safely to designated locations in the Ajah and Sangotedo areas. The role requires punctuality, good knowledge of local routes, and the ability to keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Drive staff and principal daily to assigned destinations.
- Use navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps) to select optimal routes.
- Plan routes in advance to ensure efficient trips.
- Monitor fuel level and complete fuel vouchers promptly.
- Load and unload items or luggage as needed.
- Follow traffic and weather updates to stay aware of road conditions.
- Ensure all passengers wear seat belts.
- Adjust routes to avoid heavy traffic or road works.
- Report any vehicle issues to the supervisor or Protocol and Logistics officer.
- Keep the vehicle interior clean, tidy, and comfortable.
- Schedule regular service appointments and report maintenance needs.
- Be available to work on Sundays, public holidays, and late nights as required.
