Director of Sales and Marketing

About the role

Nordic Hotels Nigeria is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead revenue growth and brand visibility for its boutique hotels in Abuja. This full‑time, on‑site position will shape and execute sales and marketing strategies across corporate, group, leisure and online travel channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to increase occupancy, ADR and market share.
• Manage corporate accounts, leisure segments and online travel partners, building strong client relationships.
• Lead, coach and mentor the sales and marketing team, set performance targets and monitor key metrics.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns, optimise digital presence and collaborate with operations to ensure guest satisfaction aligns with brand standards.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, market analysis and represent the hotel at industry events and networking activities.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in hotel or hospitality sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong marketing background covering brand management, campaign planning, social media and content development.
• Experience with revenue management, pricing strategies and use of CRM or hotel sales systems.
• Excellent leadership, people‑management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Relevant degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or equivalent professional experience.
