Director of Land Acquisition and Management

About the role

Adron Homes, a real estate and property developer with over 4,000 acres of land across Lagos State, Ota, Shimawa, Abuja and Ibadan, is hiring a Director of Land Acquisition and Management. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria, overseeing the identification, evaluation and acquisition of land parcels that fit the company's development strategy and growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and coordinate due diligence activities.
• Engage with landowners and local stakeholders and negotiate acquisition agreements.
• Manage land documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and planning requirements.
• Collaborate with legal, finance and project teams to secure clear title and optimal use of acquired land.
• Monitor market trends, assess development potential, optimize existing land banks and advise on land use and estate expansion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Law, Business or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in real estate, land banking or property development in Nigeria is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site across multiple estate locations, build relationships with community leaders and government agencies, and handle confidential information responsibly.

• Acquisitions and land acquisition, including negotiation, stakeholder engagement and transaction management.
• Due diligence, including title verification, regulatory compliance checks and risk assessment.
• Land development basics: planning, zoning, infrastructure requirements and estate layout.
• Market research: property trends, pricing, demand drivers and competition.
• Analytical, organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
