Digital Trade Officer

About the role

The Digital Trade Officer will support the execution and monitoring of digital trade transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple platforms. This entry‑level position involves direct interaction with customers, internal teams, and regulatory frameworks to deliver seamless digital trade services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor digital trading transactions across various platforms.
• Assist customers with digital trade enquiries, account issues, or transaction‑related requests.
• Process trade orders, verify transaction details, and ensure accuracy in digital records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve transaction issues and escalate technical problems when necessary.
• Maintain proper documentation of all digital trade activities.
• Prepare periodic reports on digital transactions and operational updates.
• Promote adherence to the organization’s financial and compliance policies.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
• Assist in onboarding customers for digital services and platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use digital platforms.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Good customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of digital financial transactions (advantage).
