About the role

The Director at ZOHO.VC will shape the strategic and operational direction of the firm’s early‑stage B2B deep‑tech investment activities. This full‑time, on‑site position in Ikeja requires close collaboration with the team and active participation in the local startup ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, evaluation and structuring of early‑stage B2B deep‑tech deals.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, industry partners and co‑investors.
• Oversee portfolio support, performance tracking and reporting.
• Guide program design and execution with incubation partners to align with ZOHO.VC’s mission and investment thesis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in venture capital, private equity or startup investment, especially with early‑stage B2B or deep‑tech companies.
• Strong background in technology or product‑focused environments, with exposure to hardware and software innovations.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management abilities, capable of driving strategic initiatives and mentoring talent.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Analytical and financial expertise for due diligence and valuation.
• Ability to assess portfolio performance and track key metrics.
