Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Pipelines

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our analytics team and help design, build and optimise end‑to‑end data pipelines. You will work closely with developers, data scientists and business stakeholders to ensure data is reliable, accessible and ready for analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable data pipeline architecture for diverse data sources.
• Design, develop and optimise ETL processes using SQL and AWS big‑data services.
• Analyse, clean and transform raw data to support predictive and prescriptive modelling.
• Build analytics tools that deliver actionable insights on customer acquisition and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, executive and design teams to resolve data‑related technical issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and infrastructure redesign for greater scalability.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a comparable data‑focused role.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field; Master’s or data‑engineering certification is a plus.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a track record of root‑cause analysis.

Required skills

• SQL database design and query optimisation.
• AWS big‑data technologies (e.g., Redshift, S3, Glue).
• Programming in Java and Python.
• Data modelling, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• ETL pipeline development and automation.
