Cybersecurity Engineer – Secure Systems & Cloud Operations

About the role

The Cybersecurity Engineer will protect IT Horizons and its clients by designing, implementing and continuously improving security controls across production and corporate environments. You will work closely with Development, CloudOps and IT Support teams to ensure robust protection against threats.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and enhance security monitoring tools to deliver actionable intelligence.
• Support pre‑sales activities by preparing technical proposals, Bills of Material and response documents.
• Design, implement and document security solutions such as next‑gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, web filtering and application firewalls.
• Automate audit and monitoring processes to reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with CloudOps, Development and IT Support to remediate findings.
• Assist in training initiatives to raise cybersecurity awareness.
• Provide compliance support for current and future standards.
• Participate in security audits of internal systems, client environments and third‑party services.
• Lead integration of newly acquired entities into the security framework.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience in vulnerability management and web vulnerability assessment.
• Proven ability to configure, analyse and report on SIEM, IDS/IPS and DLP solutions.
• Experience with threat analysis and remediation coordination.
