Cyber Security Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join Spark Shield Technology’s remote team. You will protect computer systems, networks and information by implementing robust security measures and continuously monitoring for threats.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and implement security protocols to safeguard digital assets.
• Identify system security requirements and advise clients on best practices.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular system tests, security audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with the tech team on threat analysis and provide strategic resolutions.
• Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related area.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proactive in identifying vulnerabilities and staying updated on security trends.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PHP.
• Strong understanding of information security operations.
• Server operation management.
• Shell scripting.
• Experience with cloud operations and services.
• System monitoring and diagnostic skills.
