Customer Service Officer (Banking)

About the role

The Customer Service Officer will work full‑time on‑site at our Marina branch, handling client inquiries and supporting daily banking operations. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring customers receive accurate information and timely assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries in person, phone, or email, providing clear information about bank products and services.
• Open new accounts, process transactions, and maintain accurate customer records.
• Investigate and resolve complaints, escalating issues when necessary to meet service standards.
• Document all interactions in the bank’s CRM system and ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
• Collaborate with other branch teams to improve service quality and achieve performance targets.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly.
• Attention to detail when handling cash, documentation, and customer data.
• Good listening, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced branch environment.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications; prior experience in banking or micro‑finance is an advantage.
