Creative Operations Assistant

About the role

Laiedon Innovations is looking for a part-time Creative Operations Assistant based in Lagos, Marina. The role combines video and content editing with operations and admin work, and supports podcast production and events. It suits someone who can turn a rough idea into a clear plan and follow through on loose ends.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form video for Instagram (Reels, Stories, carousels) with pacing, captions and cover designs
• Edit long-form video for YouTube, including thumbnails, titles, descriptions and chapters
• Repurpose podcast and YouTube content into short clips and social posts, and keep the content calendar on track
• Organise raw footage, brand assets and templates
• Manage clients' inbox, calendar and bookings, including consultation calls
• Track brand partnership deliverables, deadlines and invoices, and handle filing, follow-ups and simple reporting
• Prepare briefs, run sheets and checklists for shoots, recordings and events
• Coordinate podcast production in Lagos: guest outreach, scheduling, venues and recording logistics
• Support event planning: vendors, schedules, guest communication and on-the-day coordination, and help with travel and logistics

Required profile

• Proven video editing experience and a portfolio of Instagram and YouTube work
• Strong organisation and office skills: email, calendars, spreadsheets, shared drives and tools such as Notion or Asana
• Excellent written English and close attention to detail
• Initiative, reliability, discretion and good time management
• Comfortable working with a creative lead who has big ideas and a fast-moving schedule
• Nice to have: podcast or audio editing experience, event coordination in Lagos, social media analytics and scheduling tools, and previous experience supporting a creator, founder or small business

Required skills

• Video editing: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve
• Working knowledge of YouTube: thumbnails, titles, SEO, retention and publishing workflow
