Medical Marketing Executive

About the role

Rekrut Consulting is recruiting a Medical Marketing Executive based in Abeokuta and Ogun State. The role covers multi-channel marketing for medical services or products, physician and provider relations, community outreach, content creation and brand visibility, and performance tracking, while ensuring compliance with medical advertising laws.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and run multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, direct and social media) for medical services or products.
• Build and maintain relationships with referring doctors, specialists and clinical staff to drive patient referrals and account growth.
• Monitor market trends, patient behaviour and competitor positioning using frameworks such as the 3 Cs (Customer, Company, Competitor).
• Organise health camps, medical exhibitions, corporate wellness partnerships and public awareness seminars.
• Write marketing copy, design brochures, produce digital and video content and manage brand visibility.
• Ensure promotional materials comply with medical advertising laws, ethical guidelines and patient privacy standards (e.g. HIPAA or local OIG guidelines).
• Track campaign metrics, ROI and patient acquisition sources, and report data to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Nursing or a related life sciences discipline.
• 3-5 years' experience in Medical Marketing, Medical Affairs, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Healthcare Engagement, Medical Sales or a related field.
• Proven experience engaging healthcare professionals and executing medical/marketing initiatives.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to drive; willingness to travel within the assigned territory when required.
