Consultant Radiologist – Full‑Time in Ibadan, Nigeria

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Radiologist to join a leading diagnostic imaging centre in Ibadan, delivering high‑quality, consultant‑led diagnostic services. The role involves interpreting imaging studies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to clinical excellence and patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, ultrasound, and digital X‑ray.
• Provide accurate, timely diagnostic opinions to support clinical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support development and enhancement of specialised diagnostic imaging services.
• Contribute to teaching, mentorship, and professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCR) or West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) in Radiology, or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and a valid annual practising licence.
• Proven experience in diagnostic radiology with strong reporting and interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• High professionalism, integrity and commitment to patient‑centred care.
