Pharmacy Technician

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Pharmacy Technician to join Living Faith Pharmacy in Ibadan. The role involves supporting the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications while delivering excellent customer service. You will work in a fast‑paced environment ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately count, measure, package, and label medications and prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Receive and process prescription requests, verify patient information, and enter details into the pharmacy database.
• Welcome patients, respond to inquiries, answer phone calls, and dispense completed prescriptions professionally.
• Liaise with doctors’ offices to clarify prescription details and resolve billing issues.
• Monitor stock levels, restock medications and supplies, check expiration dates, and assist with ordering new inventory.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure documentation is up‑to‑date and organized.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in Pharmacy Technician‑related studies or a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a pharmacy technician or similar role.
• Good knowledge of medication handling, prescription processing, and basic pharmacy procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English.
