Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Edo. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical care, managing complex fertility cases and collaborating closely with embryologists, nurses and counsellors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynaecology services, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Conduct initial and follow-up patient consultations, review medical histories and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform or assist with core IVF procedures such as egg collection, embryo transfer, intrauterine insemination and follicle tracking ultrasound scans.
• Manage early pregnancy monitoring and pre- and post-operative care.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
