Commercial Director

About the role

CloudPlexo is seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Commercial Director to lead its go‑to‑market function and accelerate revenue growth. This senior leadership position owns sales, business development, partnerships, and commercial strategy, working closely with the CEO and executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver annual revenue targets across new and existing accounts.
• Lead, coach, and scale a high‑performing sales and business development team.
• Define and execute sales strategies for priority sectors, geographies, and client segments.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline with disciplined forecasting and CRM hygiene.
• Serve as senior sponsor for key client relationships at C‑suite level and drive account expansion.
• Oversee contract negotiations, commercial structuring, and renewal cycles.
• Develop pricing models, rate‑card strategy, and new revenue streams such as managed services and productised offerings.
• Build and manage strategic technology and channel partnerships (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
• Represent the company at industry events and contribute to overall business strategy as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales leadership experience in a technology or consulting environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Ability to engage with C‑suite executives and influence strategic decisions.
• Experience building and scaling high‑performing sales teams.
• Strategic thinker comfortable shaping go‑to‑market and partnership strategies.
