Clinical / Health Informatics Consultant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical/Health Informatics Consultant to lead a review of clinical data capture and workflow processes within HeliumOS. The consultant will collaborate with product, data, public‑health and engineering teams to evaluate existing forms and documentation practices, and to propose enhancements that improve data quality while minimizing provider burden.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical forms, data fields and data‑entry workflows across the EMR platform.
• Assess data capture throughout the patient journey and identify gaps or redundancies.
• Recommend structural and standardisation improvements for clinical data capture.
• Evaluate the balance between structured fields and free‑text documentation and suggest optimal approaches.
• Advise on appropriate clinical terminologies, classifications and coding standards (e.g., ICD‑10, SNOMED CT).
• Work with cross‑functional teams to validate, prioritise and implement recommendations.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) or comparable clinical qualification.
• Minimum three years of experience with EMR/EHR systems, clinical informatics or clinical data management.
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation, healthcare workflows and data quality standards.
• Experience designing or reviewing clinical forms and structured health datasets.
• Proven ability to collaborate with both clinical and technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ICD‑10 coding.
• Knowledge of SNOMED CT terminology.
• Understanding of LOINC standards.
• Experience with HL7/FHIR interoperability specifications.
