Chinese Speaking Content Creator & Social Media Manager

About the role

The company seeks a bilingual content creator to support the General Manager by producing authentic video material for Chinese social platforms. This full‑time position blends creative storytelling with platform‑specific expertise in a fast‑moving retail, fashion and FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany the General Manager to capture authentic daily activities, events, and interactions.
• Create engaging short‑form and long‑form video content for Chinese platforms such as Xiaohongshu, Douyin and WeChat Video Channel.
• Edit videos using smartphone or camera footage to meet platform specifications.
• Write Chinese captions and posts aligned with current trends and audience preferences.
• Manage the content calendar and posting schedule.
• Respond to basic comments and messages to maintain audience engagement.
• Support the growth and visibility of the manager’s online presence.

Required profile

• Preference for male candidates to maintain gender balance.
• Fluent in Chinese (HSK 3 or higher) with strong written and spoken skills.
• Minimum three years of experience in videography and video editing.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required across Lagos and Ogun.
• Prior experience managing a personal or professional social‑media account.

Required skills

• Videography and video editing (smartphone or camera).
• Chinese language proficiency (HSK 3+).
• Knowledge of Chinese social‑media platforms (Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat Video Channel).
• Content calendar planning and scheduling.

What we offer

• Full‑time position based in Lagos with travel to Ogun as needed.
• Negotiable monthly remuneration between NGN 600,000 and NGN 900,000.
