Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Healthcare

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing healthcare organization operating across multiple sites in Abuja, is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial functions and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long‑term financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance reporting.
• Lead corporate finance activities, including capital raising of at least USD 20 million and optimisation of the capital structure.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, liquidity and foreign‑exchange risk.
• Drive healthcare‑specific financing, reimbursement optimisation and relationships with HMOs and donors.
• Provide financial leadership for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and market expansion projects.
• Establish financial policies, governance frameworks and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Proven track record of raising ≥ USD 20 million in corporate funding.
• Extensive experience managing large‑scale financial operations and advising senior executives.
• Strong understanding of healthcare financing, reimbursement models and donor funding.
