About the role
The Chief Accountant will support day‑to‑day execution of general ledger processes, providing accurate reporting, reconciliation and discrepancy resolution for the property. This role also involves coordinating accounting projects and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement accounting work, projects and SOP audits across all property areas.
- Generate timely financial reports, presentations and analyses to support decision‑making.
- Maintain accurate credit card ledgers, perform contract verification and credit checks as needed.
- Monitor taxes, document profit and loss statements, and complete period‑end functions.
- Provide guidance to other units on accounting and budgeting policies, ensuring strong internal controls.
Required profile
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (no experience required) OR 2‑year degree with at least 2 years of finance/accounting experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting procedures, ledger balancing, reconciliation and reporting.
- Ability to analyze information, solve problems and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for leading teams and handling stakeholder interactions.
