About the role
The Accounting Supervisor will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting the finance team in day‑to‑day operations. This position is based at the Raffia City Plaza in Ikot Ekpene and reports to the finance manager.
Key responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and maintain all financial files and records.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports.
- Complete period‑end closing procedures and issue invoices, bills, and account statements.
- Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved.
- Coordinate tasks with other departments, mentor team members, and ensure work meets quality standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related finance or accounting experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- Ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
